Solving partial differential equations is the main stream for physical simulation. Lots of methods are grid based and the computational expense depends on the mesh scale superlinearly. My current research aims to guide non-uniform mesh generation by machine learning. I am particularly interested in finite element mesh generation for elasticity and fluids.
