Games Republic Student Showcase!

Three teams from our High Performance Graphics and Games Engineering programme submitted their projects to Games Republic Student Showcase. This years Student Showcase was hosted at the Sheffield Hallam University and included teams from 14 universities. All three teams from the HPG programme presented games created in their own game engines, which were developed as part of the COMP5530M Group Project module.

Two of the teams were selected for the first and second places of the Games Technology award! First place went to Axiom Swerve by Team UBQR (Alexander Claridge, Tejaswa Rizyal, Sahil Puri & Abhigyan Gandhi) and second place to Wipeout by Team IDOL (Zachariah Lee, Thomas Chernaik, James Johnson & Ahmad Hussain).
